My cat had an appointment with Dr. Hicks today and from start to finish it was a wonderful experience. As soon as I walked in I was greeted warmly and instantly felt welcome to their practice. Darnell, the office manager was not only friendly but also professional and genuine. The vet technicians I spoke with were also knowledgable and kind. By the time my cat was examined by Dr. Hicks we already felt at ease and in good hands. She patiently listened as I explained my cats medical history and performed a thorough examination. We decided to proceed with a blood panel and prior to that happening Darnell provided a breakdown of the costs so I knew exactly what to expect. From past experiences I usually had to wait a day or two for the results, but Dr. Hicks had them ready in about 20 mins and she went over the results with me as soon as it was ready. After my experience today I would highly recommend this practice to others in the area. :)

We just had an office visit with Dr Alex and we were very impressed, She was very thorough and followed up with us several times. The whole staff down there is very professional & caring. They take good care of our baby!

Can not say enough incredible things about Kapa'au Vet! They go above and beyond to make you feel seen, heard, and taken care of!!! Dr. Allex is incredible- so thorough, so intelligent, and so detailed and compassionate in her vet care. She is such an amazing asset to the clinic!!! I am a brand new patient and I was given an initial appointment so quickly once I called!! The customer service and the reception team is exceptional and they follow up with check ins and inquire how things are going in such a conscientious and kind manner! The vet tech we had with Dr. Allex was so loving and sweet with my kitty. I am blown away at the level of care this vet clinic gives and how they make me feel like a prioritized and cared for client in so many ways! It is beyond what I've experienced at other vets and is so special and so incredibly appreciated!!!
