Dr. Butler is the most caring beautiful Doctor Human. He helped me through a very difficult time with my kitty and I will be forever grateful to him and his precious staff. I have been to several vets here in Maui and this place has the fairest pricing by far.

ABOID AVOID - CASH GRAB I brought my dog in for severe allergies, raw bleeding paws, and nonstop licking because I wanted actual medical answers not a temporary cash-grab solution. Instead of properly investigating the cause of his condition, this clinic immediately pushed nearly $270 monthly injections to suppress symptoms without clearly explaining what was actually wrong, what was examined, or why this expensive recurring treatment was supposedly the answer. (I had to it look up the medication online to see what it does to find out it was a masking for the pain instead of treating the pain) They gave him Cytopoint without a diagnosis which is just a recurring revenue stream for the clinic. As it doesn’t work on its own. They did no testing, other than looking at his paws with bare eyes. A monthly shot of $250 so the dog stops licking (the dog indicator that something is wrong ) A full week later, my dog is still suffering, still licking, and his paws are still raw, bleeding now. Despite repeated calls and direct requests for a treatment summary, records, or even basic transparency about what happened during triage, I was brushed off by Jason, a manager? with excuses about them being “too busy,” it was a Saturday. And then completely ignored. They refuse to answer my emails, they sent me brochures for more information instead. Or they call me because they refuse to have anything in writing (SUS) No pet owner should have to chase a veterinary office for basic medical documentation about their own animal while their pet continues suffering. When a clinic seems more focused on selling repeat symptom-masking treatments than properly diagnosing the root cause — while also avoiding accountability afterward, that is deeply CONCERNING Animals deserve better. Pet owners deserve honesty, transparency, and real medical care not vague answers, ignored requests, and a business model that feels built around return visits instead of real solutions. Not to mention the sanitary problem at the facility.

Always get my dogs monthly medicine here. They've been seeing her since she was 8 weeks old. She was 2 in March. Friendly staff!

Terrible service! They care more about money than about your pets ! I’ve been using this veterinary clinic for over 30 years. It seems like every year, it gets worse! The service at the front desk is terrible. The girls are rude. They always say they never have appointments, Even when there’s no cars in the parking lot. They always want you to do an “ Emergency appointment” so they charge you $100 more. It’s so sad that money has become more of a priority than animal welfare. Time for a new vet!
