I’ve been to many veterinary offices here on the Big Island, but none compare to Veterinary Associates Inc in Kamuela. From the very first phone call to being able to get in quickly with my pets, everyone is incredibly caring and kind. The staff is amazing. Chelsey at the front desk is always so warm and compassionate—she truly makes you feel comfortable and genuinely cared about whenever you call with an appointment or concern. I’ve seen several of the doctors here, and every single one has been kind, informative, and attentive. They take the time to explain everything clearly, never rush you, and always make you feel heard. Dr. Wood performed our Coco’s C-section, and I can’t say enough about her. She took the time to speak with me beforehand, thoroughly explaining the procedure and what to expect, which gave me so much peace of mind. After the procedure, Ivory was incredibly kind and helpful—she gently carried Coco to my truck and helped load all of Coco’s puppies, making sure Coco was comfortable in the front seat so she could rest on the drive back to Kona. I would honestly drive around this island 100 times to come to this office if I had to. It is absolutely worth the drive from Kona. To top it all off, they are very affordable. Like I said, I’ve been to many vets on the Big Island, but none come close to this one. By far a 10-star facility. Mahalo, mahalo, mahalo 🌺🐾

RUDE SERVICE!!! We asked if we had an appointment today the front desk said “ NO WE DONT HAVE ANY APPOINTMENT FOR YOU!!!” Barking at us. Do not trust these people never again the lady has a ATTITUDE! We were also mixed up on the call

10/10!! Well equipped clinic to handle all veterinary needs for your furry loved ones whether they’re big or small. Sees everyone whether you’re a client or not for 24 hour care 7 days a week! Worth every penny spent there!
